چکیده:
Microwave-assisted chemical bath deposition (MA-CBD) method has been employed for deposition of zinc sulfide (ZnS) thin films on glass substrate at different concentrations of sulfide ions. The effect of variations of [S(2-)]/[Zn(2+)] molar ratios on optical properties, size of nanocrystalls and band gap energy of the films were studied. Results revealed that the increasing of sulfide ions concentration can affect the band gap energy, crystallinity, grain size, and transmission spectra of the films. X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD) indicated that the well-crystallized ZnS phase with a cubic zinc blend structure has obtained. The results also showed that the MA-CBD is a very time saving method to fabricate the ZnS films.
